Research areas in the Department cover a wide range of topics within Plant Pathology. Often, projects will include several of these main research sections to discover how plant diseases function in order to make them less destructive and less expensive for growers to manage. The Department’s research programs focus on the full spectrum of major pathogens groups (viruses, bacteria, fungi, and nematodes) at scales of study ranging from nucleotides to cells, plants, fields, and even continents. |
